Traditional convergence boxes have long faced the erosion of complex climates such as high desert temperatures, coastal salt spray, and plateau tundra, resulting in high equipment failure rates. The PVB-16 series of PVB on display adopts a fully sealed cast aluminium shell and IP65 protection design, which can completely isolate dust intrusion and maintain normal operation even after being immersed in 1m deep water for 30 minutes. Its internal structure optimises the layout of air ducts and radiators to ensure the long-term stable operation of desert power stations, even when operating at high temperatures of 55℃.

16-channel high-current convergence: adapting to the era of high-power modules
With the popularity of high-power modules, the current of single-string PV modules has exceeded 20A, and the traditional 4-8-channel convergence box is difficult to meet the demand. PVB-16 series supports 16-channel PV arrays in parallel, with a single-channel rated current of 20A, a total output current of up to 400A, and a voltage rating of 1,000VDC, which perfectly matches the large-size modules and the string inverters. string inverters, increasing the system power generation efficiency by more than 30%.

Environmental awareness and early warning: integrated temperature, irradiation, wind speed sensors, real-time monitoring of the operating status of the equipment, and upload data to the monitoring platform through the RS485 interface (optional).
Fire-retardant design: the box body adopts V-0 grade fire-retardant materials, and the internal electrical clearance and creepage distance meets the 1000V system requirements.
Intelligent operation and maintenance: from ‘passive maintenance’ to ‘active prevention’
This series of convergence box is equipped with intelligent monitoring unit, which can display the input current, voltage and power of each circuit locally and support Modbus-RTU protocol to communicate with the host computer. Operation and maintenance personnel can remotely view the status of the equipment through mobile phone APP, and the system automatically generates fault warning reports. For example, when a certain input current drops abnormally, the platform will immediately push the ‘component blocking or damage’ alarm to guide the site to quickly investigate.

Market outlook: full-scene penetration from large power plants to balcony micro-storage
With the rise of micro-photovoltaic storage systems, there is a surge in demand for miniaturised, highly integrated convergence boxes.
